The Luton Wildlife
Area (LWA) is a 1,082 acre marsh and consists of 2 areas about 2 miles apart. Both are DNR wetland/grassland areas and one is located southeast of Luton and the other is northeast of Luton. LWA north was acquired in 2008 and
is being developed into a wetland/grassland with ponds etc. LWA south has been in existence for a few years. Both areas are
good for wetland/grassland species during migration and for summer residents.
