We took a trip in February to Moorehead Park near Ida Grove to look for Northern Saw-whet Owls
under the leadership of Don Poggensee who lives nearby and monitors the owls all winter!

Short -eared Owls can be found at the Owego Wetlands and surrounding area. Look for them
around dusk.
